David Figueiras is the creative director and founder at TheToonPlanet. Diplomated in Graphic design by the Superior School of Arts of Principality of Asturias and Higher-Certificated in Illustration by the School of Arts of Oviedo being the first of his promotion, he is the key factor responsible in bringing to life this vast imaginary and funny worlds that convey in what is this creative studio now.
My first contact with the world of graphic design was very long ago. I was only five when I sat down to play with my father’s 386 computer, which was a very powerful machine at that time. When I was a kid my dream was to be a pilot, but instead of making paper airplanes, it seems I just prefer playing with clip-art of planes in Corel Draw 3. And the rest was just drawing, more drawing, hard work and learning from the experience.
